This suggests that admission sICAM-1 levels may be a marker of poor outcomes in the hyperacute phase of ICH. Future studies are needed to shed light on the mechanisms linking sICAM-1 with radiological and clinical outcomes to determine whether sICAM-1 may be a viable therapeutic target
