We have found that the dynein motor complex is linked to one of its cargo, autophagosomes through the STRIPAK complex. The STRIPAK complex contains the phosphatase PP2A, and the activity of the phosphatase is essential to regulate the transport of both autophagosomes and dense core vesicles.
